Pilates is a mind/body exercise technique that stretches and lengthens the body with flowing movements. It is unique because many of the exercises are performed in a gravity- reduced position. This means the exercises are done while laying face up (supine), face down (prone), or on your side. This allows the body to be centered and the spine aligned while putting less stress on the neck and back.

We offer Pilates for conditioning exercise, fitness and rehabilitation. Our objective is to provide one-on-one and small-group sessions with highly trained instructors whose primary objective is to empower each client toward the achievement of his or her personal goals.

The focus is on muscle symmetry, injury prevention and training the body to use muscles more efficiently therefore saving energy. Low Back Care  – Comprehensive fitness for low back pain. Our unique approach, backed by current research, combines strengthening core support for the back, teaching good alignment, and providing gentle stretches for tight back muscles.

Pilates for Pregnancy  – Pilates facilitates the growth of the abdominal muscles and stretching of those muscles during pregnancy. It also promotes good posture as the baby grows and puts more pressure on the low back. Improve posture, balance, strength and coordination as your baby develops.

Osteoporosis  – Comprehensive fitness to promote bone growth and improve posture without forward flexion the spine. Pilates strengthens and tones your core, including the muscles in your abdomen, pelvis, back, and shoulders, potentially improving your posture and balance without compromising your spinal health.

Health for Parkinson’s – A specialized Pilates workout to enhance balance, strength, posture and gait training. Each client has a specially designed program for his/her needs.

Multiple Sclerosis - Tailored workouts to address ad improve common neurological issues such as balance problems, weakness, and spastisicty.

Scoliosis - Modified, safe and challenging Pilates that adheres to the correction principles from the Schroth-based BSPTS method. Goals are to elongate the spine and activate the deep stabilizing muscles while maintaining lengthened posture.

Breast Cancer - The various Pilates exercises help develop muscular flexibility and strength while increasing me­tabolism and promoting lymphatic, respiratory, and circulatory func­tion.

Youth Pilates – Fun workouts for those training for a particular sport/activity such as dance, hockey, swimming or soccer, or for those who just want a fun hour of flexibility and strength work.

Unique whole body session tailored to your needs, injuries and personal goals. This session infuse work on the Reformer, Cadillac, CoreAlign and Wunda chair to strengthen, tone and increase flexibility and improve movement.

Pilates Private - Youth

30 MINUTES $60

Private Pilates equipment session tailored to each individual’s needs - muscle imbalances, strength building, improving posture and athletic performance.

This shortened session is geared towards ages 10-14.

Evaluation

60 MINUTES $120

One hour session to discuss rehab/fitness goals, conduct full body muscle imbalance assessment, and have initial workout. If you are just coming from an injury or sessions with a Physical Therapist, this is a key place to begin your Pilates journey.
