Pilates Equipment Classes - changing bodies one class at a time…

Pilates Group Equipment classes allow up to five clients to experience the Pilates Reformer and Chair with a few new friends. Each class provides hands-on, semi-private instruction. Focusing on core strength, posture and flexibility, 314 Pilates is a unique fusion of traditional pilates and dynamic strength training to achieve a whole body workout based on current physical medicine research for fantastic RESULTS! With state-of-the-art Clinical Reformers you get all the benefits of traditional pilates packed into an intense, fun, and effective 50 minute workout. Pilates on the equipment can help to deepen your practice and refine your form! We recommend 2-3 classes a week to realize the benefits.   No prior experience required.

All Levels This class is designed for the Beginner to Advanced. The instructor with “layer” the exercises to gradually make them more difficult. This is a great class to try out Pilates, clean up your form if its been awhile, or challenge yourself if you want to step it up!

Beginner Pilates is designed for the new Pilates Reformer client who needs to learn the fundamentals on which to build their practice.  This class is for the clients who think they “can’t,” and it will be 314Pilates that shows you that you can!  Classes will focus on the basic movements of the Pilates Method.  Modifications will be given for those with physical limitations.  This class is a great way to start and to watch the transformation in how you look, and more importantly, how you feel.  

Intermediate Pilates classes will use any of the various pieces of equipment and props at the discretion of the teacher. Intermediate classes are great for students who are more familiar with Pilates principles and who want to step up the intensity of their workout. These classes move at a faster pace than Beginner classes and will build on fundamental techniques.

Advanced Pilates classes classes are designed for students who are confident in their Pilates classes or privates and feel fit and comfortable enough with intermediate exercises, or who want to learn more advanced Pilates exercises. Students must be able to execute all beginner and many intermediate exercises. The pace of this class is much quicker than beginner and intermediate classes and requires a solid working knowledge of and comfort level with the Pilates equipment.

Pilates for MEN is the perfect opportunity for gentlemen to try Pilates with their specific bodies in mind. Men’s Pilates classes are, like men, fundamentally different from traditional co-ed and women’s only classes. These Pilates classes focus on strength, mobility, balance, and core power with specific emphasis placed on athletic conditioning and flexibility (the right kind) for men’s bodies. This is a 6 week series.

Reformer and Chair!

Workout on the Reformer and Wunda Chair to sculpt, sweat, lengthen and strengthen during this 50 minute session designed to target your whole body in all planes of motion. We will rotate, side bend, plank and pike our way to taller spines and stronger core! This class is a must for anyone wanting to cross train in another sport (running, tennis, golf, hockey, basketball, baseball, football)  or add to daily walking! Think sore abs, arms and legs the following day!

Classes are targeted for Beginner (no experience necessary), Intermediate (you’ve been doing this and know the movements) and Advanced (you really know your stuff!).

Cardio Sculpt Class

50 MINUTES $35

Get your heart rate up without stressing the joints, all the while challenging core strength and coordination. This class will focus on core endurance with intermittent Jump Board work utilizing the Pilates Jump Board and Reformer. Pace: moderate to fast-paces with a focus on cardio endurance and core strength.

Pilates for Teens Class

50 MINUTES $35

Bring a friend and work on your posture, balance, coordination, muscle tone, flexibility, and core strength. If you’re an athlete or dancer, improving these skills can vastly improve your performance. One of the biggest benefits of Pilates is that it can be a source of stress-relief as well as improve your mental focus. By adding a couple of 50-minute Pilates classes per week, you’re actually #treatingyoself while eliminating stress and improving brain function. That means those study hours may get shorter and actually more effective!
